For this extra virgin olive oil, the De Carlo family works together with farmers from the immediate vicinity of their olive grove in Puglia, the boot of Italy. Ogliarola and Coratina olives are collected and pressed in the family’s mill. The oil starts off soft and fruity with a hint of fresh grass and sweet almond. It ends with a strong and long bitter and peppery aftertaste. Delicious with hearty dishes such as stews, roasted vegetables and meat, sauerkraut and fried fish. The bottle can be refilled in the store.
